Custom Terpene Blends: How AOHA Creates Bespoke Profiles

Every wellness brand has a unique vision. A custom terpene blend is one of the most powerful ways to translate that vision into a product that stands apart on shelf — delivering a distinctive aroma, flavour, and functional profile that cannot be replicated by competitors using off-the-shelf ingredients.

At AOHA Limited, our bespoke blending process begins with a detailed brief. We work with brand owners and formulators to understand the target consumer, the intended product application, the desired sensory profile, and any functional goals — relaxation, focus, energy, recovery, and so on.

Our formulation team then draws on our library of over 130 terpene profiles to develop candidate blends. We consider the aromatic character of each terpene, its studied functional properties, its behaviour in the intended base (oil, water, PG/VG, etc.), and its regulatory status for the application.

Samples are produced and shared with the client for evaluation. We iterate based on feedback — adjusting ratios, swapping individual terpenes, or modifying the overall intensity — until the blend meets the brief. This process typically takes two to four weeks depending on complexity.

Once approved, the blend is documented with a full specification sheet and CoA, and can be produced at scale under our GMP manufacturing conditions. We offer flexible minimum order quantities to support brands at every stage of growth.
